Welcome to Langley Inn. Our Lodging Office at VQ, Building 82 is staffed 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Our courteous Guest Service Representatives are always on duty to assist you.

We offer Distinguished Visitors Quarters (DVQ), Visiting Quarters (VQ), and Temporary Lodging Facilities (TLF). Whether you are PCSing in or out of Langley, on TDY, or leave, we can provide you with exceptional lodging convenient to base activities and local community services. Lodging also welcomes guests on a space available basis. Our facilities and amenities meet all Air Force and ACC standards.

Wireless Internet Service

If your computer does not find our midatlanticbb wireless service, use the following steps:

Verify your wireless connection is on. Some laptops have switches that will turn wireless service on or off — ensure it is on. Try to connect to midatlanticbb.

Currently, we do not support any access to online gaming machines.

Dodd and Lawson Hall have a wire located on the desk for internet connection. For internet issues, please contact Executive Communication at 4.6227.

Reservations & Check-in

Room Keys

Issued at check-in. If your stay is extended we will need you to come to the front desk to refresh your keys. If you lock yourself out and do not have a valid ID with you, the clerk will check the registration folio and escort you to the room and check your ID for security purposes.

Check in/Out times

Check-in time is 2:00 PM
Check out time is 11:00 AM

If you must check out after 1100 hours, contact the front desk for approval, otherwise you will be charged an additional lodging fee at your current room rate.

Requests for late check-out will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Please contact the front desk if you have an extenuating circumstance that required a late check-out as soon as possible. We cannot always guarantee a late check -out past 1100 without payment for another day’s service charge. Mission requirements and staffing levels determine whether approval can be given without an additional fee being assessed on the current room rate.

Lodging Information

Policy on pets in guest rooms

Pets are allowed in Pet Friendly TLF units only. Guests may be charged a $150.00 cleaning fee based on expenses incurred to return the room to available inventory for violating the no-pet policy. Guests may be asked to vacate quarters or board their pet in a kennel. Pets may not be left in personal vehicles.

Occupants responsibilities

Occupants are responsible for their conduct and the conduct of their guests and/or family members while in government lodging. Their action must not infringe on the rights of others.

All Air Force lodging common areas and guest rooms, including TLF units are non-smoking areas. In accordance with the AFI 34-135, para. 1.5.2, when smoking does occur in a guest room, a $150.00 cleaning fee for intense cleaning to remove all traces of smoke will be charged.

Pets are not allowed in units or on the premises unless you are assigned to a pet friendly room in accordance with AFI 34-135, para. 1.6.2. A local kennel listing is available at the Front Desk and on our website. Guests will be charged a $150.00 cleaning fee for pets in non-pet rooms.

Occupants will conserve utilities and comply with fire, health, and safety regulations. No open flames are permitted in the rooms.

Please ensure personal items are not left on the bed (housekeepers are not authorized to handle personal items; therefore, if items are left on beds, the housekeepers will not make the bed).

Should your room require service contact the housekeeping staff at ext. 9003/04. Housekeeping staff is available 7 days a week from 08:00 to 16:00. For after hours assistance, please dial “0” for the front desk.

For maintenance issues please dial ext. 4141 (VQ) or 9040 (TLF). For Dodd and Lawson Halls, please dial “0” for the front desk. Maintenance staff is available 7 days a week between the hours of 0800 to 1600. For issues occurring after hours or on the weekend, please dial “0” for the front desk.

DO NOT DISTURB POLICY

If a “Do Not Disturb” sign is on the guests’ door, the housekeeper will not enter and clean the room.

The “Do Not Disturb” sign must be removed from the door before 1400 hours to ensure guests receive housekeeping service.

The “Do Not Disturb” sign can be used for three consecutive days; however. AFI 34-135 para. 1.4.3 requires management or housekeeping to enter the room after three consecutive days.

Pet TLF rooms will be entered daily to remove excessive dander and fur, inspected for fleas, ticks, and any damage caused by pets. Please keep pets in kennel when you are not in the room. Housekeeping will not enter if pet if left out.

9. For safety and security, please register with the front desk all vehicles including RVs, large trailers, and boats. Parking placards will be given to you to display in/on the vehicle.

11. Bicycles, auto parts, etc. will not be kept in rooms. Pornographic, offensive, or prejudicial materials will not be displayed in quarters.

All space available guests are required to pay in advance with cash, check, or credit card. If on official travel and using a credit card, charges will be processed at check out or after each 15 days of occupancy, whichever comes first. All rooms are non-smoking.

Excess cleaning fee

Guests may be charged a cleaning fee up to $150

Payment procedures

All guests paying with a Government Travel Card will be charged for their stay in advance at check-in for up to 15 days. All guests checking in will sign the guest registration form that advises them lodging is authorized to apply any unpaid charges to their credit card.

All long term guests (staying over 15 days), whether paying by cash, check, or credit card will return to the front desk at 15-day intervals to verify and pay their lodging bill for the next 15 days. Credit card paying guests will have their credit card automatically processed for charges incurred over the previous 15 days.
Cash or check paying guests must pay in advance for the next 15 days or remaining days of occupancy (if less than 15 days).

All space available guests, regardless of method of payment, will pay for their stay in advance at check-in. Advance payment will be required for any approved extension.

Laundry rooms

VQ: Ice machines are located next the laundry room on every floor.

Bayview Towers/TLF: The ice machine is located on the first floor across from the laundry room.

DV Quarters: The ice machine is located inside the back door to the residence.

Fitness rooms

VQ: The fitness room is located on the first floor, down the hall from the Front Desk.

Bayview Towers/TLF: The fitness room is located on the first floor next to to the Business Center.

Eligible guests may also access the ACC and Shellbank Fitness Centers.

VQ: Laundry machines are located on every floor.

Bayview Towers/TLF: The laundry room is locate on the main floor.

Complimentary beverages

Coffee, tea, and condiments are provided for your enjoyment free of charge. Your housekeeper will replenish them daily. There is also complimentary coffee and hot chocolate provided in the lobby at VQ.

Sundry items

If you have forgotten any items, we have a selection at the front desk for purchase. We also have snacks, sodas, and other miscellaneous items available.

Business center

Located in the lobby of the VQ & Bayview for guests to access the Internet and print. There is also wireless Internet connection available. Local or DSN fax service is available at the front desk at no cost.

Do not disturb signs

These signs are provided for your convenience. Simply hang the signs from the exterior door knob on your room. If you would like to receive housekeeping services, we ask that you remove the “Do Not Disturb” sign by 1200 hours. On the third day, the “Do Not Disturb” sign is left without prior arrangements with the Lodging Manager, housekeeping must enter your room to ensure the safety of the guest and condition of the room.

Housekeeping services

Housekeeping service is provided seven days a week (unless you post a “Do Not Disturb” sign on your door). The housekeeper will return at 1200 to service your room. If the sign is still on your door at 1200 hours, service will not be provided.

Bed linens will be changed once a week for long term guests, unless otherwise requested. Towels and washcloths will be replaced as you choose. On federal holidays, housekeeping services are minimal. In the spirit of being environmentally conscious, if you would like to reuse your towels, please hang them on the towel rack. If you would like clean towels, please place soiled towels on the floor and we will exchange them.
