Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) Employees are Federal employees paid from funds generated by a Non-appropriated Fund Instrumentality (NAFI).  NAF employees work in activities in the Force Support Squadron providing morale, welfare, recreation and services to active duty and retired military, family members, and authorized civilians. Our positions are located in Child Development Centers, Youth Centers, Club, Golf Course, Bowling Center, Lodging, Community Center, Library and Outdoor Recreation.  NAF employees can be hired as Flexible or Regular Part-Time (RPT)/Full-Time (RFT)

    • Flexible: Can work 0-40 hours per week, subject to on-call work

    • RPT: Guaranteed workweek of 20-34 hours per week

    • RFT: Guaranteed workweek of 35-40 hours per week

      • RFT/RPT are also eligible to participate in all benefits to include health/dental/life insurance, NAF Retirement, 401(k) and earn paid annual, sick leave and holidays

Most frequently filled positions are Child and Youth Program Assistants, Cooks, Recreation Aids/Assistants, Laborers, and Custodial Workers.  Managers and Assistant Managers for the Club, Golf, Lodging, Bowling, Golf Course Superintendents, Marketing Director, Outdoor Recreation Director and Librarians are covered under the AF NAF Career Program.  Join our team by completing a profile and applying on-line at www.NAFJobs.org.

Once you have created a profile it is time to look for position to apply.

  • In the search Bar look for Virginia and choose either

  • A list of vacant positions will open – It will show

    • Position Title

    • Organization

    • Pay

    • Closing Date

  • Over on the right side you will see “View” where you can review more details about the position and “Apply”
