Eaglewood Golf Course
Beautifully conditioned golf course designed by renowned golf course architect Lester George. 18 championship holes with views of the Hampton River as well as our nation’s most powerful Air Force practicing in the skies above us.
After-Hours Golf
The Eaglewood Golf Shop is open 7 days a week from 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM each day this time of year, but that does not mean you need to be off the course by 5:00 PM each afternoon. You can stay out on the course until you are done with your round and you can keep your cart out until dusk. The golf shop closes at 5:00 so you just need to either check-in or pre-register your round before it closes.
You can call the golf shop and pre-pay your fees over the phone with a credit card and your name will be added to the after-hours list with the outside staff getting you access to the first tee when you arrive. Unfortunately, if your name is not on the list you will not be allowed access to the golf course. The outside staff will be happy to get you set up with a cart or anything else you have prearranged with your phone call. Give us a call today to arrange your late afternoon round of golf. The Golf Shop’s phone number is 757.764.4547.
Please Call for Tee Times
We wanted to remind everyone that it is always a good idea to call ahead for a tee time whenever you want to come out and play. Although tee times are not required and you can play as a walk-in player; you may have to wait a significant amount of time if you come up and all of the tee times are taken. We have been very busy in the mornings and early afternoons; this has led to some walk-up players having to wait a few hours before we could work them onto the first tee.
Players with tee times will always have priority. Just call us at 757.764.4547 to make your tee time in advance. You can make a tee time 7 days in advance and if you are Active Duty you can make one 14 days in advance to give us a call and eliminate the possibility of having a long wait before you get to tee off. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

The Payne Stewart Kids Golf Program is a fun and innovative way for your kid to learn all about golf. The program is designed to integrate the sports skills the kids already have, like kicking ball, throwing a frisbee or running a race, and show them how those skills are directly relatable to the game of golf. In addition to covering the basic golf skills we discuss how proper nutrition and exercise can ensure they enjoy their sports for the entire life.
In our down times of the program we talk about life skills that will help them to become a more caring and compassionate individual who treats others with the respect that they want themselves. All kids graduating from the program will receive free range balls for the rest of the year. Ages 5-9. Cost:$100 per child.

FAQs
Can I bring my own food?
The only food allowed to be brought in is cakes and/or deserts, and those items must be coordinated with management. All other food MUST be purchased through the golf facility.
Can I include snacks and water in the goodie bags we are going to give out?
Not unless they are purchased through the golf facility.
Can I bring in my own drinks? (donated coffee/juice/beer)
All beverages MUST be purchased through the golf facility. No outside beverages are allowed on property.
Can we have a cart for a photographer or DV to ride around and visit the players?
Yes – as long as there are carts available and you have coordinated with the management team.
What is needed to do a closest to the pin, long drive or hole in one contest?
Nothing is needed for the closest to the pin and long drive contests. We have markers available for your use and we will be happy to get them on and off the course for you. For hole in one contests, you may need to have witnesses available to be stationed at those holes. Check with your insurance policy for the prize to see if this is required. If witnesses are needed you will need to provide them.
Can we use this tournament as a fundraiser?
Absolutely! Coordination and approval are needed. Please contact the golf course management to get necessary forms and contact information for needed coordination. Please leave yourself 2-4 weeks for this process before you start to advertise the tournament.
Can you help us get sponsors for our tournament?
Unfortunately, we are not allowed to solicit for sponsors of any kind for your fundraising events. You will need to do this yourself.
Do tournament players pay for the event at the golf course?
All tournament players will need to pay one POC from your organization for the event. The POC will in turn pay for the entire tournament at one time. This will ensure everyone in your event gets on the course in a timely manner and is not waiting in line in the golf shop to pay. We will provide a registration table for you to use if needed. You will need to provide your own change fund for your own registration.
Can we bring our own decorations for the tournament?
Yes, you can. Please coordinate this with management to let them know what you had in mind. Basically, as long as it is not offensive or destructive and you can clean up so everything looks the way it did when you arrived you can decorate.
Can our event participants who do not have a government ID get through the gate?
Yes – with proper coordination. Security Forces is happy to work with us on making it easier for your event participants to get through the gate. We do need to submit an EAL (Event list with certain information on those needed access) at least 10 days in advance.
