The 633rd Force Support Squadron (633rd FSS), located at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, plays a vital role in supporting the mission and morale of the installation’s diverse population of Airmen, Soldiers, civilians, retirees, and their families. As part of the 633rd Air Base Wing, the squadron provides essential quality-of-life services across fitness, dining, recreation, childcare, and community programs—ensuring that service members and their families are supported both on and off duty.

Serving a joint military community of more than 30,000 personnel, the 633rd FSS organizes events, programs, and leisure activities that strengthen morale and build resilience across the base. Through the Air Force Commercial Sponsorship Program, patriotic businesses and organizations have the opportunity to partner with the squadron in support of these initiatives—enhancing the daily lives of those who serve while gaining valuable visibility within a proud, engaged military community.

According to recent U.S. Census and VA data, Virginia has about 614,631 veterans (2022 estimate), representing roughly 9.2% of the state’s adult population.Many of these veterans reside in the Hampton Roads region and surrounding areas serviced by Langley AFB.
The 633rd Force Support Squadron plays a vital role in offering Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) programs to support not only active-duty personnel and their families but also the large veteran population across southeastern Virginia.
