Earn points for your squadron and a chance at winning the Commander’s Cup by competing in multiple events.

Event will kick off with a 1.5 mile run before the tournaments begin.

Multiple teams per squadron per event are permitted.

Each squadron member may participate in one-day event only.

Squadron Fitness Challenge

Each 5-man team (3M/2F) will compete in 5 events designed to test the team’s overall strength, endurance and strategy. Events will be announced and demonstrated the day of the event.

Volleyball

Co-ed teams of 6-12; 6-on-6 Outdoor Volleyball. The number of teams registered will determine the tournament format. Current FIVB/USAV Outdoor Volleyball Rules apply.

Softball

It’s softball, y’all; you know how this goes. Co-ed teams of 10-12; 10 players on the field at a time. Umpires and balls will be provided, all other necessary equipment will need to be provided by each Squadron/Team. The number of teams registered will determine the format of the tournament. All games will be played in accordance with the Amateur Softball Association. (https://www.asasoftball.com).

2-Person Golf Tournament

2-Person Captains Choice. Both partners will hit each shot and the best shot will count each time. Tee off, whoever’s ball goes the farthest, both partners will hit from that spot the next time. Lowest overall score is the winner.

Kickball

Bringing it back to the school yard. Teams of 9 - 15 face off in a friendly, winner takes all tournament.

Bowling

2-person teams face off for overall points and best score after 10 frames.

Cornhole

Official Cornhole rules and regulations of the American Cornhole Association (ACA).  The number of registered teams will determine the tournament format. Each team will consist of two players.

200M Swim Relay

Team of 4 swimmers.  Each swimmer swims one lap (down and back) length of the pool. Each swimmer can choose any stroke they feel most comfortable with.  Clock starts with the first swimmer and ends when the last swimmer touches the wall on the last leg of the relay. Lifeguards will be provided.

1.5 Mile Run

Earn Points for your squadron! This is the only individual event.

Gamer Bus Tournament

Call of Duty Tournament: Event will be held on Gamer Bus. Each team will consist of 2 players. Official rules will be sent to registered team captains. Players will sign up as teams of 2. 15 Teams or 30 players may participate. All teams will play in one qualifier during the tournament.

Pickleball Tournament

Mixed doubles, single elimination format, 2 out of 3 Games to 11 points, win by 2. For rules please see link provided here.

3v3 Outdoor Basketball

Teams of 3v3- the number of teams registered will determine the tournament format. Half court games. Games will be 15 min or first to 21 points.  In case of a tie, at the end of 15 min, the team who scores first wins.  Call your own fouls, respect the call.

*All active duty military, reservists, DoD/NAF civilians, and family members, with government ID cards over 18 years of age, assigned or attached to Joint Base Langley-Eustis will be eligible to play.

Individual Event

1st place 50 pts

2nd place 45 pts

3rd place 40 pts

4th place 35 pts

* This will be a one day tournament for CC Cup Points

*One Team per Squadron can earn points (Top finishing team earns points)
